The Wolfscastle Country Hotel & Allt yr Afon Restaurant, a former vicarage nestling in the lush mid-Pembrokeshire countryside is still known locally by its original name "Allt yr Afon" ("Wooded Hill by the River").
The hotel is a careful blend of the old and the new, the rooms practical as well as comfortable. has private bathroom with shower, satellite TV and tea/coffee facilities. Of the 20 bedrooms, there are a range of rooms to suit all pockets 1 Stirling Room, our bridal suite, four larger Calon rooms with seating area and deluxe bathrooms, 8 Cariad rooms, which are generous size double or twin rooms and the remainder being our cosy Cwtch double rooms. A Children's Menu is available in the Hotel Bar.
Well behaved dogs are welcome in all rooms except the Stirling or Calon rooms for a £10.00 per night housekeeping charge. Dogs are allowed in the public areas of the hotel, and there are a couple of dog friendly tables in the Brasserie which can be pre-booked.
Over the years an enviable reputation has been gained for our cuisine and in particular for the use of fresh local Pembrokeshire produce, caringly prepared by our chefs. The hotel restaurant has consistently earned a 2 Rosette for culinary excellence. The Brasserie is open for meals between noon & 9pm 7 days a week to both residents and non-residents. Afternoon tea is also available.
The Allt Yr Afon Fine dining restaurant is open 6pm-9pm Wednesday – Saturday offering a 6-course fixed menu. Places are limited so booking is essential.
