Castle View B&B Kilkenny is a family run B&B set in the heart of the Kilkenny Country with views of lush green rolling country side and plenty of fresh air. Castle View is within easy access of Kilkenny City with its medieval castle and many historic sights and good pubs and cafes for Irish food and music. All rooms have unspoilt views of the Kilkenny countryside. Our home has a warm open fire and television. You can also avail of complimentary tea and coffee along with some beautiful homemade apple tart and scones. Evening meals are available but you are asked to prebook 3 hours in advance. Nature Trails: With 80 acres of woodland and 6km of trails surrounding two lakes, Castlecomer Discovery Park has plenty of room for exploration. Families can liven up a walk and improve their overall experience by picking up one of our Nature Trails from the reception desk. The Rock of Cashel: It's huge, it's complex, it's iconic, there is nothing like it anywhere else in the world and it's right here in Cashel at the heart of Tipperary. The Rock of Cashel (Carraig Phádraig), more formally St. Patrick's Rock, it is also known as Cashel of the Kings. Orchardhill Bed and Breakfast situated in the picturesque coastal town of Stonehaven, 15 miles south of Aberdeen, the Oil Capital of Europe, is the ideal base for discerning leisure or business travellers. At Orchardhill we want you to feel at home. You are welcome to relax in the guest lounge and enjoy a cup of tea or glass of wine. In the garden there are two terraces, one with one of the best views of Stonehaven with its bay, cliffs and the Black Hill with imposing war memorial. The other terrace is beside the greenhouse and cottage garden. The house is an unusual period home being on one level and is full of period features like marble fireplaces, servant bells, oak floors and doors and original light fittings. Check in is between 4pm and 6pm unless otherwise arranged. If you will be arriving after 6pm please let us know so we can plan our evening accordingly. The Park Hotel is a large detached Victorian villa and was formerly the home to the Provost of Macduff. It is situated clost to war memorial in Macduff, which is around 700 feet above sea-level and it has spectacular sea views. There are very large private parking facilities. "The Park" is a friendly guest house and warmly welcomes all of our guests and also their friendly pets. The hotel has a fully licenced bar, complete with up to date juke box (30,000 tunes), pool table, darts and fruit machine. The hotel also hosts karaoke and discos, usually at weekends and is also one of the few local establishments to frequently host live music. There are five beautifully appointed letting bedrooms, all are centrally heated, en-suite, with tea/coffee making facilities and televisions. Each of the bedrooms have been individually furnished to a high standard. There are one single room, one twin room, one double, one small family room (which can easily double as a twin bedded room) and a family room (with one double ded and two single beds). Each room is individually heated for your own comfort, with all of the functionailty you would expect to find. The views from around the hotel are simply breathtaking, here is the view of the harbour from the nearby church. Below are further images of the harbour in which Dolphins frequently visit.
