Ideally placed for the keen walker, as Berwyn Street leads directly onto the Berwyn mountain range. Across the road the river Ceidiog passes on its lazy journey to the river Dee and adds a relaxing atmosphere on a hazy summer evening. Water based activities including canoeing, rafting and windsurfing are available in Bala just 9 miles away. For the less energetic there are numerous places of interest and quaint seaside towns to visit: Barmouth with its beautiful golden sands. Llandudno: The Great Orme and Victorian shops. Chester: Elizabethan Shops and Zoo Also: Slate mines, Gold Mines, mountain railways, museums, Ruthin gaol, Lake Vyrnwy, wildlife reserve and many more. Breakfast is served from 7am until 9am in the spacious dining room overlooking the colourful garden and forested hills beyond. Packed lunches are available on request.
