Built in the 1880's, we offer our guests a warm, comfortable environment, with those little extras that we know our guests like. That, together with our "superb" (guests words not ours) breakfasts, ensure you will enjoy your stay, and perhaps return, as many of our guests do. All our rooms are spacious, warm, and come with those little extras that we know our guests appreciate. We currently have four rooms available at Bramble Corner; the twin Holywell room with en-suite facilities (pictured on the left), two double rooms: the Houghton with en-suite shower room, and the Woodhurst, a double with large en-suite bathroom and "king" sized double bed. Kay makes her own yoghourt (delicious with Victoria plums from our orchards), also her own marmalade, various jams and preserves, fresh bread and rolls when possible, and her porridge, well ..... Our fresh free range eggs from Ethel and the girls are the talk of our guests, their golden yolks and sometimes we have double yokers, add to the country atmosphere that is Bramble Corner. We try and offer the sort of service to our guests that we would expect ourselves. The little things can make a huge difference to the way our guests will percieve their stay with us, and indeed, whether they will return, and many do. We welcome comments, and are always available for you should you need help with anythong at all. Apart from your room and the dining room, when the weather is better, please feel free to sit in the garden, which is a picture when the sun shines and all the flowers are out. the previous owner was a landscape gardener and it shows.
