Ardent bird watchers will thrill to the sight of the beautiful Red Kites circling high in the skies, looking for their prey. If you want to see them close up, go along to the local Kite Centre & Museum at Tregaron. Now you can even visit 'a magical place' - Hafod - recognised as one of the finest examples in Europe of a Picturesque landscape. For those who want to sample the local atmosphere (and evening meals & drinks!), there are two public houses within walking distance of Awel-Deg - The 'Tynllidiart Arms' and 'Maesbangor Arms'. The area abounds with old graveyards and the inscriptions tend to have survived well because of the lack of atmospheric pollution. If all that sounds a little too hectic, then don't worry! Craig-y-Nos Bed and Breakfast is well located to explore the numerous beaches and coves that run along the coastline of Cardigan Bay. The nearest beach is Aberporth with its child-friendly EU approved beaches, Tresaith is nearby as is Mwnt with its ancient church and the seaside town of Cardigan. The Bed and Breakfast is popular with walkers, cyclists or those simply seeking a break from faster paced lives. Our 3 rooms are well decorated and our bed linen is quite simply the best: pure white cotton sheets, duck down duvets and feather pillows.
