Our Georgian Mansion is set in it's own beautiful grounds, which you can wonder around at your leisure and has a Heated Swimming Pool for you to enjoy, from June to September. All Guest Bedrooms are very spacious and have their own Ensuite Bathroom or Shower room. Each Bedroom is individually designed and includes a Flat Screen HD TV with Freesat, Tea/Coffee making facilities, complimentary Toiletries, Iron & Ironing Board and a Hairdryer. We also have a small Guest Kitchen, which enables you to make light snacks etc.

Cwrt Mawr is 15 minutes from the quaint and historic seaside town of Aberaeron, 10 mins from the ancient market town of Tregaron, 30 mins from the small fishing town of Newquay, where Dylan Thomas lived and wrote, and 15 miles from the university town of Aberystwyth, with its castle, arts centre, historic library, cliff railway and camera obscura.
Bottlenose dolphins can often be seen all along the Cardigan Bay coast, and you may catch a glimpse of porpoises and seals if you're lucky. We have country and coastal walks all around us and we are close to the Ystwyth Trail, which was specially opened for cyclists and walkers alike. This is a bird watchers' paradise. Red kites are regularly seen hovering over Cwrt Mawr and nearby fields, along with many other native birds. Wildlife is here, in this idyllic tranquil setting, in abundance. Other attractions include local golf clubs, riding stables and sea, river and coarse fishing (which we can give you plenty of information on). We've got our very own lead and silver mine at Ponterwyd, the nearby ancient ruins of Strata Florida Abbey (Ystrad Fflur), the Cors Caron Nature Reserve with its peat bog and at Devil's Bridge, we've got the famous Mynach Falls, the Devil's Punchbowl and Jacob's Ladder. Whatever your pleasure, we have it here just waiting for you.
