For those of you who are interested in water activities, sailing and fishing are very popular. During the summer months, canoeing and wind surfing equipment is available to hire from the main beach. One of the major attractions of New Quay is the frequent appearance of the bottle-nosed dolphins who are often sighted both from the shore and also from the seasonal pleasure boatts, which operate from the harbour.
