Cotton Farm B&B is a luxurious and characterful farmhouse bed and breakfast near Chester. Set in quiet and peaceful countryside just 4 miles from Chester, it has very comfortable and large rooms, a lovely garden and countryside walks around the farm. Cotton Farm is not easily accessible from Chester by public transport, but taxis are easily obtained from outside the railway station, and we can order a taxi for our guests. Cotton Farm is a lovely farm, with styling characteristic of the Grosvenor Estates. The farmhouse started life as a dairy, producing Cheshire cheeses in what is now the guests' accommodation. It was extended in the late 19th century, almost doubling in size, and creating the north end of the farmhouse as it is today. The architect was John Douglas, who was responsible for many of the famous buildings in and around Chester (including the much-photographed Eastgate Clock). The Hulme Family at Oakenholt Farm have been welcoming guests from all over the world since 1985.
