Castle Farm Guest House, Fotheringhay, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire

Castle Farm Guest House is in a delightful riverside location. This tastefully converted farmhouse sits at one end of what is arguably, one of the county's most picturesque and well known villages.
Across the farmyard is the mound of the castle where Richard III was born in 1452 and the ill fated Mary Queen of Scots spent her last days when she was imprisoned and finally executed in 1587.
There is a comfortable lounge which has an open fire and views across the river and meadows of the Nene Valley.
Accommodation consists of 4 twin bedded rooms plus 1 double. Two of the twin bedded rooms convert easily into family rooms and all are en suite.
Tea and coffee facilities, guests own lounge, baby sitting service and laundry facilities are all available.
Rates: £43 per person per night. £65 - £67 based on 2 sharing.
