(Cadwell Park is on the A153, between Louth and Horncastle). The Black Horse is also within easy reach of Market Rasen horse racing, Horncastle, Lincoln and it's historic Christmas Market.

The Black Horse is a great base for weekend-walking along the Viking Way, Cadwell Park Racing Circuit or racing at Market Rasen. Golf at Louth, Horncastle and Market Rasen. One of only a few pubs that is on the Viking Way situated in the Lincolnshire Wolds area of outstanding natural beauty.

Excellent food served in the bars and restaurants in the Black Horse, including the famous Lincolnshire Red Beef! Traditional home cooked Sunday lunch served every Sunday. Tuesday night Steak Night promotion. Good beer, fine cask ales & wines, pool room, darts, AA Recommended. Wheelchair access at the rear but no disabled toilet facilities. One of the most popular pubs in the area and one of the few pubs in the area with letting rooms.
