The Albatros in The Quay, Wells-next-the-Sea in Norfolk, offers truly unique guesthouse accommodation on 6 wonderful cabins on a glorious boat. This is your chance to try life aboard a boat, without getting sea sick!
Our wonderful cabins can accommodate up to 14 people and our boat rooms can be hired individually or collectively by a group. All beds and bunks are designed for the tallest sailors and are at least 2 meter long and 80 cm wide. Both children and dogs are welcome on board, so as you can imagine we are a popular with families who want a special break away.
For breakfast guests can choose anything from the extensive pancake menu or order an English breakfast. Both choices will keep you going through a greater part of the day. The ship’s galley (kitchen) freshly prepares Dutch sweet and savoury pancakes and other Dutch specialties such as apple cake, pea soup and Dutch omelettes on a daily basis for lunch and dinner from 12 noon till 9pm in the evening. Every Friday and Saturday night and Sunday afternoon you can listen to great live music.
Our B&B boat is truly a fantastic place to stay while exploring the many delights throughout Norfolk. We are only a short walk from many local amenities within Wells-next-the-Sea and just a short drive from attractions and places of interest in the east of England.
