A 17th Grade II Listed country house, built in 1610 and nestling in 10 acres with private fishing lake and set on the edge of the Waveney Valley, makes Grove Thorpe a paradise for lovers of the rural way of life.

Quality and comfort are our main priority with all bedrooms ensuite, some with super king sized beds (6ft), antique furniture and superior views over gardens and countryside from all windows. Every room has colour TV, beverage tray, radio alarm, towelling robes, hairdryer etc.

Inglenook fireplaces and a wealth of beams help to create the warm ambience reflecting the tourist boards highest 5 star accolade.

Bedrooms are all en-suite, with superb views over the grounds and countryside and tastefully decorated and individually furnished with antiques. Each room has colour T.V, beverage tray, radio alarm, towelling robes, hairdryer etc; all to the standard of our coveted Gold Award.

Tea can be served in the front walled garden when weather permits and watch the pet muscovy ducks splashing in their pond under the willow tree. Stroll through the 10 acres of meadows, continue to the "Spinney" which hosts 100 mixed mature trees.

"Garden Cottage" is a separate access ground floor suite adjacent to the house, offering lounge / bedroom, en-suite shower room, seperate access, all to the highest of the Tourist Boards Five Star status.
