The Beaumaris Hotel, Sheringham, Norfolk

Since 1947 the same family have earned a reputation for traditional hospitality and personal service offered to our guests, many of whom return time and again. Today, the resident directors, Hilary and Alan Stevens, continue this family association into the third generation.

Open from early-March until mid-December the Hotel offers every comfort and is ideally situated in a quiet cul-de-sac within five minutes walk of the Blue Flag beach, town centre and golf course.

The 21 en suite bedrooms are comfortably appointed and offer television, telephone, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryers. A number of single, family and ground floor rooms are available.

In the spacious, tastefully appointed Restaurant eating is always a pleasure – light and airy during the summer and opening on to the garden where meals may be taken when the weather permits and warm and intimate by candlelight during the cooler months.

The table d’hote menu changes daily and offers an excellent choice featuring local fish and crabs in season. A la carte and vegetarian menus are available. Special diets are willingly catered for.

On Sundays we serve a traditional lunch with a tempting choice of freshly roasted joints and fish. A popular occasion so do telephone us for a reservation.

The relaxing atmosphere of the fully licensed bar provides an ideal setting to enjoy a drink. We serve traditional beer and a fine selection of wines from Adnams of Southwold.

At lunchtime freshly prepared Bar Snacks are enjoyed by our guests and local customers alike.

The Lounge - Here you can relax in comfort and talk over the delights of your day’s activities. This lounge, together with the bar and restaurant, overlooks and opens on to the sheltered garden where the sun and sea air can be enjoyed.

Rates : From £50 to £60 per person per night.
