Wood Hall, The Little Waldingfield, Nr Lavenham, Suffolk

Grade II listed Wood Hall is perfectly placed to explore Suffolk's rich artistic heritage. Constable country, Flatford Mill, Sir Alfred Munnings' house in Dedham and Gainsborough's House in Sudbury are all nearby. The great wool churches of Long Melford and mediaeval Lavenham are also waiting to be explored.

Wood Hall's Georgian facade hides a richly beamed 15th century Tudor house set in mature grounds where Susan and Patrick have created a warm and friendly atmosphere for their guests. Enjoy tea on a summer's afternoon in the sheltered walled garden and stroll in the grounds.

Stay in one of the two spacious and comfortable ensuite bedrooms filled with antique furniture and decorated in traditional English country house style. Armchairs, writing desks and lots of books add to the feeling of being at home. Colour television and a well stocked hospitality tray in both the double and the twin bedded room complete the picture.

Breakfast is served beside an original arched inglenook fireplace in the elegant dining room. Delicious AGA cooked full English breakfasts use the best local produce and are complemented by home made bread, jams and jellies.
