Joan Thompson & Tom Gurteen look forward to welcoming you to their bed and breakfast overlooking the sea at Pakefield, near Lowestoft. This old fishing village, still popular with sea anglers today is 1.5 miles south of Lowestoft.

The comfortable, well appointed rooms are equipped with colour TV, tea & coffee making facilities, mini-fridge and hairdryer.

Our professional catering background is reflected in the quality of our breakfasts using local produce and home-made bread & preserves.

There are several very good pubs and restaurants close by, whilst High Street shopping facilities are available in Lowestoft. The Marina Theatre hosts live productions all year and is currently home to the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Ferini Art Gallery with its changing exhibitions is opposite the house.

Our position on the Sunrise Coast offers plenty for the visitor to see and do including walking, bird watching, swimming and sightseeing.
