FREE TRAVEL THROUGHOUT GUERNSEY WITH A BUS PASS COURTESY OF LA GRANDE JAONIERE! Our aim is to give you a good start to the day with a wholesome breakfast to see you through to well past lunchtime after having had a good night's sleep in a clean comfortable bed in one of our well appointed en-suite bedrooms. We serve your breakfast in the conservatory or on the patio (weather permitting). You will be able to view the garden and watch the many birds that nest in the trees and hedges that surround us. You will also be able to enjoy our home grown tomatoes, as well as Christine's home made jams from our fruit trees and bushes. Alternatively on fine days you may wish to enjoy your breakfast outside in the garden beside the luxurious palm trees. We are a small Guest House and we feel that this enables us to give you more personal individual attention. Your comfort and enjoyment is our priority. Each room has a T.V. video and radio, armchairs, adequate storage and a hairdryer. Tea and coffee are both freely available and you just need to ask for fresh Guernsey milk when you need it. Our lounge is at your disposal for watching television or playing music. During the evening you might persuade us to have a game of cards or just chat. While enjoying a glass of sloe gin. We take great delight in helping you to enjoy your stay in Guernsey and make the most of the time you are here. I'm happy to suggest the best place to swim or sunbathe taking into account the direction of the wind. We are familiar with the best restaurants, cafés and pubs and even to the best west coast chippie from which to watch the sun go down over the sea while you enjoy a local fish supper. We enjoy scenic cliff walks and visiting hidden gardens and know where the most interesting ones are, even if it's just a gentle walk to a beach kiosk or cafe. We also take an interest in the Island history and can point you in the right direction to explore the island's heritage from Neolithic to the German Occupation. Should you wish to take a little walk and pop into a beach kiosk or cafe we can point you in the direction of our favourite ones that do local, homemade delicacies.
