Situated high up at the head of the beautiful Monsal Dale, there are spectacular views down into the Wye Valley and across the old Peak Railway to the west. Views that have been described as "breathtaking", "magnificent" and "the best in England". Not to be outdone, rooms to the east of the house look out over the guests' garden, open pastureland and beyond to Longstone Edge.

Summer or winter, we aim to make your stay as relaxing and stress free as possible. Unwind in the garden with tea and home baked cakes on a sunny afternoon or retreat to the lounge with its open log fire on a cold winter's day.

We provide a generous breakfast using fresh local produce. Evening meals are available at a choice of venues within 100 yards walk of the house. For guests wishing to explore a little further we can recommend a number of pubs and restaurants in nearby villages.
