The new Derbyshire Arts Centre and Pear Tree Farm traditional farmhouse accommodation are set in the Derbyshire Dales, in beautiful countryside on the border of the Peak District.
The Arts Centre, in the Lea Valley Conservation Area, has its own 76 acres of pasture and woodland, through which Lea Brook runs.
We provide a wide range of art courses in painting, sculpture and drawing. With inspiring countryside and the company of like-minded people, our courses are the perfect creative holiday for any aspiring artist.

We also provide accommodation at Pear Tree Farm, with a traditional farmhouse bed and breakfast, and we have facilities for groups of people.
At Pear Tree Farm we have 8 en-suite bedrooms suitable for group accommodation for up to 20 people, including ground-floor facilities with wheelchair access.
All bedrooms are en-suite with bath or shower. We have 8 bedrooms (4 double, 3 twin, and 1 family). Two of these rooms are situated on the ground floor with facilities for the disabled and wheel chair access. All rooms are a good size and equipped with T.V. and hair dryers (iron or press available on request).
Pear Tree Farm has a spacious cosy guest lounge with a traditional wood burning stove. A large TV, video player, DVD player, and selection of books are available for guests' enjoyment.
Enjoy your chosen activity during the day, and relax in the large lounge after the evening meal. Sit beside a log fire and soak up the social atmosphere.
We offer a programme of art courses with nationally and internationally respected guest tutors.
The spacious waterside studio is ideal for use by groups of up to 15 people.
Our facilities are available to groups, including Walkers, Birders, Historical Societies and Artists.
There is a large off-road car park and 3 acre field next to the road as well as 76 acres of pasture and beautiful woodland.
Either the studio or the dining room - which has a telephone point for internet access - can be booked for seminars and small meetings (seating for approximately 15 people) and/or special events.
Full board is provided and drinks are available all day. Refreshments, (buffet or hot meal) are available on request.
Rates : £30 - £35 per person per night based on 2 sharing. £45 - £50 per night for single occupancy.
