The Hollins Bed & Breakfast, Belper, Derbyshire

Established 16 years, we are situated on the edge of Belper with views from the bedrooms overlooking the countryside. There are country walks on the doorstep, yet we are also within easy walking distance of the town centre, public transport and all amenities.

We border the Derwent Valley World Heritage Site and the area is famous for its cotton mills and the Derwent Valley Visitor Centre is only 200m away. As well as a holiday area The Hollins is convenient for people working in the area being only eight miles from Derby and only a short walk from the North and East Mill office complex in Belper.

Accommodation :

One recently refurbished family room with shower en-suite which can also be for double/twin or single occupancy. One 5' bed and one 3' single. Bay window overlooking countryside. Room has a sitting area and a desk.

Breakfast : We provide an excellent full English breakfast which includes home made bread and organic muesli; locally produced free range eggs, bacon and sausage. We also offer a good vegetarian breakfast and can cater for gluten free and other diets. We will accommodate early and late breakfast whenever possible. Breakfast is served at separate tables in the dining room which overlooks the garden.

For evening meals there are a variety of pubs and a varied selection of restaurants within walking distance or a short drive away.

Attractions :

The Peak District is within easy reach and we are a 20 minute drive from Matlock Bath, Cromford, Carsington Water and the National tramway museum. Kedleston Hall (N.T) is a short drive away. The famous Chatworth House and estate is a 40 minute drive through attractive countryside.

Denby pottery is also nearby and there are various factory shops.
Attractions within walking distance include Belper River Gardens with boating, wildlife reserve, walks, visitor centre and factory shops.
