We have two very large bed/sitting rooms both offering generous double, twin or family holiday occupation. Each room has TV, drinks making facilities, central heating and is furnished with attractive antiques including four-poster beds.

The historic conservation village of Elton - (population 400) was the recent winner (2004) of the 'Best Village in Derbyshire' competition. It is peaceful and secluded, away from the crowds yet is only 5 miles from Bakewell and Matlock in the area known as the White Peak. Ashbourne and Buxton and all major attractions are within easy reach as is the town of Chesterfield with its famous Crooked Spire.

The surrounding countryside is often the location for films and TV series and is ideal for walking. Cycles may be hired on the nearby Tissington Trail.
