Built over 200 years ago, Notley House was at one time one of several private schools in the Hucclecote area. In 1987 the house was lovingly restored bringing back the original charm with oak beamed ceilings and a homely cottage style appearance but also offering all the modern facilities required.

Ideally located for the city centre, the Cotswolds, Regency Cheltenham and Gloucester’s historic docks, we offer comfortable accommodation at a realistic price that include a hearty English Breakfast.

We have a variety of accommodation styles ranging from single bedded rooms, double rooms, family rooms, four-poster bedrooms and a self-contained Coach House with four-poster bed.

All our rooms have been individually decorated giving our rooms a modern feeling but keeping much of the old charm of a 200 year old building with the black oak beams and comfortable furniture.

The two rooms built into the roof space on the second floor have individual showers, wash-basins, tea & coffee trays with hot chocolate sachets and biscuits. They have a colour televison,clock radio and hairdryer and a thermostatically controlled radiator.

Our double bedroom on the first floor has all of the above but in addition to that has a separate toilet.

Our family room on the first floor has all the double bedroom has above but in addition has a single bed as well. There is also room to put a travel cot and in certain circumstances another foldaway bed.

The single bedroom has all the doubles have except with a single bed.

The four-poster bedroom has a double pine four poster bed with modern canopy styling, colour television, clock radio, tea & coffee tray with hot chocolate sachet and biscuits and a full en-suite shower room containing toilet, wash-basin and shower.

Rates : From £30 to £32.50 per person per night. From £47.50 to £70 per room per night based on 2 people sharing. Family room from £50 per night. Under 6 years £5, 6-16 years £10. Over 16 years £15.
