Welcome to St. Michaels House, a family run Restaurant and B&B. Our 17th century Grade II listed building has a wealth of character, overlooking the famous village church in the heart of Painswick - known as "Queen of the Cotswolds."

We are delighted to announce that we have been short-listed in the category of Most Distinctive Local Menu' in the Cotswold Life Food & Drink Awards 2008.

We are also nominated for the 'Taste of the West 2008 Awards'.

All our bedrooms are inividualy decorated and apointed with high quality luxurious furniture. Each bed has a hand made matress, goose down duvets and pillows.

The Indian Room has a gorgeous four poster rosewood bed, with a coloured glass canopy.

The Art Deco Room has an original 1920's ornate chrome and enamel bed.

The Rococo Room has a richly carved dark mahogany bed in the French Rococo style.

All 3 bedrooms are en-suite, each has flat screen television, internet access, radio alarm clocks, hair dryer and coffee and tea making facilities as standard. Each room has a fruit bowl, mineral waters and fresh cut flowers to add that personal touch. Laundry services are available on request.

The house has central heating and cosy landing lounge with leather armchairs, books, maps and board games.

Breakfast is served in our thirty seater restaurant facing the famous churchyard with the 99 Yew trees, or if the weather permits it can be served in our secluded court yard garden. For a small additional charge breakfast ordered the night before can be served in the bedrooms.

Rates : From £80 to £110 per room per night based on 2 people sharing.
