The Bateman Arms, Shobdon, Nr Leominster, Herefordshire

The Bateman Arms, an 18th Century three storey inn with rooms, situated in the village of Shobdon in the unspoilt County of Herefordshire on the English, Welsh border. The listed building is fairly striking and has an unusual appearance with some of the last of the old cobbled paving outside its front. Recently renovated the inn offers wealth of character. You can sit in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in the bar with its oak beams and large fireplace which hosts log fires in thee winter and where we serve a selection of light meals.

The Restaurant offers an ã la carte menu specialising in a range of classical and traditional dishes complimented by an excellent selection of fine wines. The majority of our food is supplied by top quality local produce. The restaurant is open 7 days a week 7-9 pm. Also available, a wide range of bar snacks served 7 days a week at lunch or dinner.
Whether you choose the traditional atmosphere and classical experience of the restaurant or the varied menu served in the lounge bar, we aim to offer you an enjoyable and relaxed dining experience.
