Set in the grounds of Scalford Hall and once owned by Colonel Coleman of mustard fame, The Lodge housed the gardeners & chauffeurs for the Hall.
Now a picturesque Edwardian house, set in the rolling countryside, it is a welcoming B & B with roaring log fires in the winter and delightful gardens to enjoy in summer, which gives it a typical country cottage feel.
The Lodge boasts self-contained, tastefully decorated accommodation with private guest entrance and staircase. We offer one twin room, one double room, private guests' shower room and lounge/dinning room. Both rooms are tastefully furnished with period cottage furniture and excellent views of the surrounding countryside.

Double room : The Double room consists of antique pine furniture and a cast iron double bed.
The room occupies a quite location at the rear of the house, overlooking the courtyard. The room has a comfortable, tranquil feel. Ideal for couples or families in conjunction with the Twin/Double room.
Twin room : The Twin/Double room consists of antique pine furniture with the ability to have two single beds or one super king-size bed.
The room, which looks out over the beautiful, rolling Leicestershire countryside, has a cosy country feel. Ideal for couples or families inconjunction with the Double room.
Rates : £60 per room per night based on 2 people sharing.
