Our Queen Anne farmhouse beckons you to enjoy evenings scented with candles and woodsmoke. Experience delicious meals of the finest ingredients graciously presented. Delight in Spring Bluebells, laze in summer shade by the water garden or stroll through crisp fields and woods.
Set in the Domesday village of Ravenstone; Ours is an artistic household whose rooms are furnished to a high degree of style and comfort.
The guest lounge has an Inglenook fireplace complete with log-burning stove. There is a Teletext TV and hot drinks and biscuits there as well.
All the bedrooms have colour TVs,radio alarms and en-suite facilities.
The Scythe Bar, licensed for residents and guests, offers a selection of soft drinks, local and imported beers, spirits, and moderately priced wines. These compliment a variety of home-cooked meals which are prepared with the highest quality local ingredients, and cooked with a hint of Continental or Eastern influence, then served in our beamed dining room. Vegetarian meals are prepared in separate utensils.
House or Dinner Parties for up to 10 persons can also be arranged and for excursions, packed lunches may be ordered.
