Rosemary and David Tuckley offer you a warm welcome at Lake House. This four-star rated guest accommodation was built around 1740 as a stable block to Brixworth Hall (now demolished). The house retains many exposed beams and now features a grand dining room. Set in 4.5 acres of grounds in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside and dominated by a 2.5 acre lake this is the perfect place to relax and explore the area. The lake attracts many water birds and other wildlife. The remains of a 19th century icehouse makes interesting viewing

Each room is restful and tastefully decorated with views across the private lake. Both bedroom suites have television/video, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.

The Mallard Suite : Is ideal for honeymooning couples with a Super King size bed and separate sitting room. It can also be arranged as a twin bedded room with a third person or child sleeping in the sitting room area. Benefits from an en-suite shower/bathroom.

The Kingfisher Suite : Contains a king size double bed, exposed roof beams and en-suite shower room. A separate sitting area is available adjacent to the suite for quiet reading or bird watching.

Dining : Guests are invited to select a traditional English breakfast (using local farm produce where possible) or a lighter continental breakfast in the dining room, the conservatory or 'alfresco' during the summer months.
