The Grange Bed & Breakfast, Elton-on-the-Hill, Vale of Belvoir, Nottinghamshire

The Grange is situated in the beautiful Vale of Belvoir, 300 metres from the A52 between Grantham and Nottingham. Newark is only an 18 minute drive. Other venues around are: Belvoir Castle, Holm Pierpont Watersports Centre, Trentbridge Cricket Ground, Belton House near Grantham, and also very close to Newark Antiques Fare.

East Midland Airport is about 40 minutes drive, and Nottingham Station is about 20 minutes drive. Grantham is the nearest Railway Station, which is about 15 minutes drive – from Grantham to London it is only 55 minutes.

The Grange has 3 ensuite rooms, 2 doubles and one twin all with their own theme, with beautiful views from all windows. There is a beautiful garden to relax in with views to a private lake.

The Conservatory breakfast room looks out into the garden where you may have a full english breakfast served with many local foods such as eggs, jams and breads. There is also many healthy choices, the choice is yours!!

The Grange was built in 1725 and still has many original features. Bedroom 3 which we call the The Hay Loft has a beautiful spiral staircase.

The Vale of Belvoir is a beautiful place to cycle and there are many public footpaths in the area, as well as the famous Grantham Canal Walk, which I am told, takes about 3 days.

The Grange is very close to many local eating-places, the closest being only 300 metres away serving good food. There is also plenty of off road parking.

Rates : £38 to £45 single occupancy. £55 to £65 per person per night.
