Parklands, 100 Banbury Road, Oxford

Located in a tree-lined residential area of North Oxford (just 15 minutes walk from the City Centre), Parklands offers bed and breakfast accommodation in the late Victorian former home of an Oxford Don.

This late Victorian home, now a home-from-home, has been extensively refurbished to a high standard (in-keeping with many of its original features) and comprises 15 comfortable, tastefully decorated en-suite rooms.

Each of our non-smoking guest bedrooms is centrally heated and features:
En-suite bathroom equipped with a powerful shower
Wireless broadband internet
Remote control television
Radio alarm clock
Hospitality tray
Direct dial telephone
Hair dryer

Breakfast at Parklands is prepared from fresh ingredients of the highest quality and cooked to order. We use free-range eggs, best back bacon & lovely plump pork sausages supplied by our local butcher (vegetarian alternatives available). Our fresh tomatoes and mushrooms are also locally sourced.

Individually wrapped preserves, fine cut marmalade and delicious honey to complement our hot buttered toast (thick-sliced white or wholemeal) and freshly baked croissants. We also offer natural yoghurt and a selection of cereals and Muesli (including porridge oats) to cater for everyone's tastes.

To drink, our guests can enjoy orange, apple and grapefruit juices, fresh chilled milk as well as a selection of teas and herbal infusions. Coffee drinkers will appreciate the best Latino blend or an instant alternative for those preferring their morning cup decaffeinated or a little less strong.

Parklands is just 15 minutes walk away from the City Centre and University Colleges or you can use the excellent bus service from North Oxford. The Ashmolean Museum, Oxford's famous Bodleian Library, Radcliffe Camera and the Botanic Gardens are also within walking distance and there are art galleries (as well as the famous Rose & Crown pub) on North Parade as close as just 5 minutes away.
