Breretons Farm, Woolston, Church Stretton, Shropshire

Nestling in the Shropshire Hills, Brereton’s Bed & Breakfast at Woolston Farm offers so much more than mere words and pictures can convey. The warmest of traditional Shropshire hospitality awaits the visitor to this gem of a 350 acre working farm. Please do come and experience Shropshire’s Shangri-la for yourself, we look forward to welcoming you, and we are sure that your only regret will be that you didn’t find us sooner.

The larger of the two en-suite rooms boasts a beautiful four poster bed to complement the feeling of timeless tranquility and comfort that is so much a part of this beautiful county. The second room is a twin room with delightful views across the surrounding fields. Brereton’s Farm is nestled in the tiny hamlet of Woolston situated above the village of Wistanstow which is home to Woods Brewery, its 350 acres compromises of cattle, sheep and cereals. Breretons offers a genuine and quiet retreat from the fast paced life we lead today.

After enjoying the comfort of your bed, you are sure to awake to either a virtuoso performance of the dawn chorus or perhaps the gentle lowing of the cows or sheep from the fields below. Either way, breakfast is provided at a comfortable and convenient time and, in keeping with the traditional ways of these parts, will be cooked using only locally produce before being served piping hot at your table.

Our four poster room is the larger of the two rooms with a large dressing area with washstand plus en-suite shower room.

The delightful twin room is a sunlit spacious room containing ample closet space with washstand plus en-suite shower room.

The farm boats a beautiful stairwell area, a wonderful light and airy space, a real atmosphere of a bygone era. Light streams through the breakfast room in the mornings revealing the glorious fields rolling as far as the eye can see. Guests have use of a large accommodating sitting room with plenty of comfortable furniture to recline in after a hard days walking.
