Yew Tree Inn, Ranton, Stafford, Staffordshire

The Yew Tree Inn has been established as a quality eating house for nearly 30 years at Ranton, near Stafford.

Formerly the home of local farmers, the original building dates back to the 17th century, and was converted into a restaurant in the early 1970’s.

We have three delightful rooms, all of which offer en-suite accommodation, colour TV, and tea/coffee making facilities. Each one is distinctively decorated, and has a name, rather than a number.

We have many regular business guests who prefer to stay with us rather than a large travel lodge type of hotel, because of the relaxed, and informed nature of their stay.

Breakfast, which a former guest who was a government minister, described as ‘the best I have ever had’ is cooked and served to you by either head chef, Richard or our senior sous chef.

Dining in the Brasserie & Bistro : The concept of informal dining that forms the basis of what we offer our customers, ensures that eating out can be relaxing, enjoyable and fun.

Our menus allow you to choose as little or as much as you want to eat. So, whether you just want a starter and an espresso, in the Pantry Bar, or a three course meal, in the Brasserie, you can have what you want.

At lunchtime, you can choose from either the main Bar menu, or a menu featuring light snacks. A fixed price, two course Lunch is also available at a modest £7.50

On Sunday we offer a fabulous Sunday Lunch, with a wide choice menu which features two Roasts and a range of other dishes. Two courses costs just £11.00, and three courses £13.50.

To round off your meal, we have a range of hot and cold desserts, speciality ice creams, and freshly ground and brewed Italian coffee.

Whenever you dine, you will find a warm welcome awaiting you. The Brasserie is under the personal supervision of Manager, Jayne D'Onofrio. Jayne’s aim is to ensure that you enjoy a memorable dining experience, whenever you visit us.
