The old house is an historic house, converted into a warm modern home by Anne and Michael Tams. All the rooms in the B & B accommodation are beautifully decorated and furnished and the gardens landscaped and are made available to their bed and breakfast guests.

Situated on the edge of Cannock Chase and near to Shugburough Hall and the Haywood Villages it is ideally suited for business and leisure.

The Old House is ideal for short breaks or longer holidays in Staffordshire, explore Cannock Chase, the Trent Mersey Canal or Shugborough hall without having to use a car. Visit the Wolseley Arms a fine country pub in walking distance and the craft, antiques and garden centre.

Many Staffordshire attractions can be easily reached by car, including the Potteries, Alton Towers, Lichfield and many National Trust properties, Trentham Gardens and The Monkey Forest.

For business people Ye Old House is close to Stafford, Stoke on Trent, Rugeley and Lichfield. The M6 and the M6toll are only a 15 minute drive away providing easy access to the West Midlands, Birmingham NEC, Stafford County Showground and for those passing through and who may wish to stay over night.

Bedroom 1 is a south facing double bedroom with en-suite shower and toilet facilities. This bedroom also has a balcony with views of Cannock Chase and the Trent Valley.

Bedroom 2 is a large double bedroom with en-suite shower and toilet facilities . There are two windows with views over open county side. The room can be made into a family room.

Bedroom 3 is a large twin bedroom with it’s own private bathroom with shower over the bath and decousi.

Bedroom 4 is the blue room with two single beds and en-suite. The rooms windows face both north and south with view over the garden and to Cannock Chase.

The Lounge and Breakfast room with a large east/south facing conservatory is light and warm. The relaxed comfortable surroundings is an ideal place to start your day or to relax in on your return from a days activities exploring Staffordshire or a days business. Breakfasts are served to meet all tastes.
