You are assured of a friendly welcome at our comfortable, modern guesthouse, one of the few B&Bs actually in Sevenoaks. This makes it the perfect base from which both to explore Kent and to visit the Capital.
What we offer is the best of all worlds, a quiet secluded location, yet within easy walking distance of Sevenoaks town centre and just a few minutes’ drive from Junction 5 of the M25 motorway. And Sevenoaks is a mere 35 minutes by frequent train to central London.
Down a short driveway behind our home, this accommodation provides off-street parking and stands in its own private garden where, on warm sunny days, our visitors can take it easy. Three of our four bedrooms are on the ground floor, giving easy access for disabled guests.
Numerous restaurants and pubs serving good food can be found nearby or, alternatively, for evening meals guests may make use of the fully fitted kitchen.
For large families or groups of friends, we can also offer the entire property on a self-catering basis, although this generally has to be booked well in advance. We aim to provide an uncluttered and relaxed environment where our guests can enjoy a peaceful stay.
Local attractions include Knole House, with its vast deer park, Chartwell, the home of Sir Winston Churchill, Ightham Mote and Quebec House, where General Wolfe lived. Hever Castle, Penshurst Place and Sissinghurst Castle with its famous gardens are also within a comfortable drive.
Sevenoaks itself has a living, thriving, vibrant community. It has a newly-extended shopping centre, a wonderful variety of restaurants, a large leisure centre and a theatre/cinema complex. The town is also home to The Vine cricket ground, one of the oldest in England, and has a wide variety of historic properties including St Nicholas’ Church, dating from the 13th century, within a short distance from the centre.
The town is surrounded by gorgeous countryside and picturesque villages, including Otford, Shoreham, Eynsford and Chipstead. There are many sporting facilities and the district is home to some prestigious golf clubs and equestrian centres.
