Welcome to Braidwood Farm where we offer Bed and Breakfast in our comfortable and attractive modern farmhouse, set in 250 acres yet only 10 miles from Edinburgh City Centre.

We can offer 3 Double Rooms with king size beds or a Twin Room with 2 singles.
All rooms are bright and spacious with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside, and have en-suite facilities with either baths or showers.
TVs, central heating and coffee and tea making facilities are standard in all rooms.
A full Scottish Breakfast is included in the price.
We are unable to provide evening meals, but there is a good selection of local pubs and restaurants nearby which we would be pleased to recommend.
We are a completely non-smoking establishment.

The farm is located within the Pentlands Regional Park, and is home to a wide variety of fauna including deer, badgers and foxes, buzzards pheasants and heron, as well as our own Icelandic Sheep.
There are many opportunities for the active guest, with walking, cycling, trout & salmon fishing, bowling, golf, pony trekking, swimming, skiing and outdoor adventure activities all close by.
Join in the fun at The Lamancha Experience where you can try your hand at carriage driving, go-kart racing, archery, mini-digger driving, clay pigeon and range shooting and Quad bike & 4v4 trekking.
More leisurely pursuits include cinemas, theatres, art galleries, concerts and museums, castles and exhibitions or festivals of all sorts in nearby Edinburgh.
Search for your own Holy Grail at the ornately carved 15th century Rosslyn Chapel which featured in Dan Brown's novel 'The Da Vinci Code'
Visit the Wallace Monument, a tribute to Scotland's 'Braveheart' only an hours drive away.
Take a short walk from the farmhouse to our own prehistoric fort, or look for the Roman Road.
