Resident owners John and Dorothy Hope and their dedicated close knit team aim to create a comfortable, homely environment whichprovides good service and excellent food in a relaxed atmosphere.

The hotel bar is ideal for pre lunch or dinner drinks. It is comfortable, convivial and offers a good range of beers, wines and spirits.

Food : We pride ourselves on the excellence of our cuisine. An exciting moderately priced A La Carte menu features the finest ingredients. In addition to the tasty meat and fish dishes, there is also a selection of vegetarian meals. And for those who require a special diet we are happy to prepare meals to suit. Bar snacks are also available and tea and coffee is served throughout the day.

Location : The Clifton Hotel is located just half a mile from the M62 motorway on the edge of Goole town centre. It has its own private car park as well as ample on street parking. One of Goole's most important characteristics is its fine communications network. Situated on the edge of the M62, Goole is also only a short distance away from the M18 and A1 motorways.

Several major cities including Hull, York and Doncaster are all within half an hours driving time - which makes Goole an ideal centrally situated base from which to carry out business in these commercially active areas.
