From the moment you arrive, and even before you cross the threshold, you will realise that a great deal of thought and care has been spent in designing our beautiful little oasis of flowers. We are constantly striving to maintain and improve facilities.

With lovers of all ages in mind we designed our Tulippa Four Poster Room. This has been designed to provide your own ‘love nest’ at the rear of the house, and on a clear day you can see the magnificent Flamborough Cliffs. It has all the luxuries and special touches typical of Sunflower Lodge and much more - our fabulous four poster has luxurious, tactile fabric. The room also benefits from a beautiful loveseat piled high with velvet, satin and beaded cushions - ideal for that special cuddle or maybe a proposal? The luxury en suite has a double-ended, Victorian style, roll top bath - perfect for sharing and chilling out with a complimentary glass of the wine. Why not be truly pampered by ordering breakfast in bed from our delicious and comprehensive menu.

Romantic Breaks include complimentary wine, chocs and a posy of fresh flowers. (Wine can be upgraded to Asti or Champagne on request). We can direct you to local restaurants and even pre-book a table or courtesy car - but please book ahead in plenty of time.

A comprehensive range of baby equipment can be reserved including: travel cot and bedding, highchair, personal fridge for milk and formula, lightweight buggy, changing mat, bottle warmer/steriliser, measuring jug, basket of baby toiletries. UNDER TWO IN A COT FREE!

The Sunflower Den : Our playroom on the top floor has a televideo with a selection of videos to borrow, a new playhouse and lots of toys and books. Somewhere to meet holiday friends.

Family Rooms : Designed to provide a friendly atmosphere, to aid settling children whilst away from the familiar surroundings of home. With themed bedlinen, teleDVD, toys and a resident teddy just waiting for a hug! Hot choc/cookies and soft drinks provided.

Sunflower Activity Pack : Contains a suitable Comic, puzzles and a colouring kit. Children are encouraged to provide pictures for our ‘art gallery’ and are rewarded. We also offer special childrens' menus.

For older children : A PlayStation 2 and games can be hired at a nominal fee (but requires at least 48 hours notice to set up), along with board games and access to our computer, (although, regrettably, this is not available at meal times).

There is a landscaped garden to the rear of Sunflower Lodge.

Rates : From £24 to £29 per person per night.
Children are welcome.
Smoking is permitted. Pets allowed by arrangement.
On road parking only.
Dinner is available by arrangement.
