Milton House is an elegant Victorian house with all modern comforts, but retaining many original features. We are situated in Askrigg - the well-known Wensleydale village famous as a location for the BBC Television series All Creatures Great and Small.

We have been offering a warm welcome to our guests for over 20 years. Our lovely dales family home is beautifully furnished and decorated and offers all the comforts of a 'home from home', including central heating.

A full cooked breakfast is served at 8.30 am, using local produce, free range eggs, homemade preserves etc.

At the heart of Wensleydale, Askrigg is surrounded by beautiful countryside which is ideal for exploring by car, cycle or on foot. There are two good pubs in the village that offer lunchtime and evening meals.

Wensleydale is the largest of the Yorkshire Dales and has a beauty all its own. Here you can get away from the stresses of everyday life and enjoy the magnificent scenery and the peace of Herriot Country. Waterfalls, dells, castles, lovely walks (from a gentle stroll to something more demanding), charming market towns and pretty villages - you'll be spoilt for choice!
