The Castle House in Richmond offers luxury boutique B&B accommodation in North Yorkshire. We are the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life.
The 18th Century townhouse is ideal for a spontaneous break away. We offer 8 luxurious and comfortable double rooms:
Richmond Suite: This stunning romantic deluxe superior suite overlooks the market square of Richmond and gives you the most luxurious and pampered visit. It boasts a king size four poster bed with a luxury mattress and luxurious Cotton Sheets. You are also able to enjoy an open fire, with a comfortable seating area which looks out onto the market square. The room is furnished to the highest of standards and includes armchairs, a chaise longue at the end of the four poster bed, coffee table, large flat screen TV with DVD player and a dressing table
Wensley Suite: The room overlooks the top of market square with views over Richmond and Swaledale to the west and to the south, the many woods which cover the south banks of the River Swale. The Wensley Suite boasts a King size sleigh bed with a luxury mattress and luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets. The room is furnished with a large antique wardrobe, dressing table and leather sofa with coffee table.
Redmire Room: The room overlooks the top of market square with views over Richmond and Swaledale to the west. It has a charming double bed with a very comfortable mattress. It has its own en suite with shower, toilet Text taken from thebandbdirectory.co.uk and hand basin. Fresh towels and dressing gowns are provided as well as luxury soaps, shampoos and shower creme. The room has a flat screen TV where you can select all the normal free view channels.
Easby Room: Being on the top floor the room overlooks the top of market square with views over Richmond, The Culloden Tower and the magnificent landscape of Swaledale to the west. It has a charming double bed with a very comfortable mattress. The room has its own separate dressing room with dressing table and stool with a built-in wardrobe.
Aysgarth Room: A spacious yet cosy beautifully decorated king size family or twin room with exposed beams and low ceilings. The additional single bed offers our guests to use the room for a number of different requirements either another adult, child to stay or to use the room as a twin bedded room if desired. There is comfortable seating in the room to read or relax, along with a flat-screen Freeview TV, kettle and all the normal complimentary drinks. Bathrobes and fresh towels, as well as the wonderful L'Occitane products that we use, are also provided for each guest.
Included in the rooms are a choice of teas and coffees along with milk/sweetener and a selection of biscuits. Complimentary still & spring water are also provided free of charge. The en suites have L'Occitane luxury soap, shower gel, shampoo & conditioner along with a sewing kit, nail file, shower cap and cotton wipes/buds. Fresh towels and dressing gowns are also provided for our guests. Delicious truffle chocolates supplied by Mocha of Richmond are left on the outside of the room door handle every evening. All rooms have hairdryers, flat screen TV's with Freeview, and free Wi-Fi.
A complimentary glass of wine or tea/coffee is also offered to our guests on arrival.
