Banavie is situated in a quiet part of the picturesque village of Thornton-Le-Dale, close to the popular market town of Pickering.

On your arrival we serve complimentary tea or coffee in the comfort of our guests lounge. Helping you relax after your journey.

We offer one very large double, a twin bedroom and two double bedrooms. All are tastefully decorated with en suite facilities. All bedrooms are situated on the first floor and there is a large ground floor 'guests lounge' for relaxation, with a colour television, games and magazines.

Our dining room features a unique collection of fine horse brasses.

At the start of each day we take pride in serving our guests a full Yorkshire breakfast which comprises of local produce from our village butcher. A cot and high chair are available if required.

Our guests are given their own keys to allow access at all times.

Thornton Le Dale : This is one of the prettiest villages in Yorkshire and the ideal holiday location for visitors to the North Yorkshire Moors, Ryedale and the Yorkshire Coast.

The village itself accommodates a wide range of facilities with cafes, restaurants, pubs, shops and galleries. For relaxation you can sit by the village pond and observe the wildlife.

The meandering stream that winds its way through the village provides a gentle walk which passes by a 'Thatched Cottage'. The thatch cottage is one of the most photographed locations in the area.
