Your host's Ann & Alex Roe, welcome you to River House Hotel at Malham, near Skipton in North Yorkshire.

A Victorian Country house hotel, originally built in 1664, offering superb breakfasts and evening meals. Centrally located in this beautiful Malhamdale Village amidst stunning scenery, with the Pennine way and other walking and cycling routes running just past the front door. A warm welcome awaits you on your arrival.

Bedrooms : One has an ensuite bath room with a shower as well and the other three having ensuite shower rooms. Some of the rooms having original fire places. One of the bedrooms is situated on the ground floor which is suitable for disabled guests. The other four bedrooms are situated to the rear of the house. All four are ensuite and with power shower, one also having a bath in the ensuite as well.

The Dining Room is where Quality Dales breakfasts are served to you each morning of your stay. We have recently been awarded an AA Egg Cup for an excellent breakfast. Only a select few in North Yorkshire have been awarded an Egg Cup. We also have an AA Dinner Award.

Packed Lunches are available on request.

Malham is a perfect setting for a break in the Yorkshire Dales, both for the keen rambler or those wanting something less strenuous. Within a mile of the village there is Malham Cove a 250ft Limestone Cliff topped by a unique Limestone Pavement, Goredale Scar a deep rift in the landscape once painted by Turner!, and a short stroll from the hotel is Janets Foss, an enchanting waterfall where local legends abound.
