Set in the picturesque village of Thoralby, Nr Asysgarth Falls, in beautiful Wensleydale, an ideal location for exploring the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Owned and run by Charles and Becci Martin, this traditional dales inn offers you a warm and friendly welcome.

A stone-built inn, the pub is characterful and with a cosy, welcoming atmosphere inside.

The decor is traditional in its styling, with wooden stools, chairs and tables and a solid fuel stove to keep things toasty warm in winter, while the walls are decorated with a miscellaneous collection of old prints.

The pub has two comfortable guest rooms for bed and breakfast accommodation, situated in an annexe, just a few metres away.

All rooms are individually appointed with en-suite facilities and have the refinements you would expect to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible.

The rooms have colour T.V., tea and coffee making facilities and hair dryer. Well behaved dogs are very welcome and are charged at £5.00 per dog per night.

Nearby is Leyburn, with its thriving Friday Market and many stylish shops; and Hawes where you can visit the famous Rope-maker and the Wensleydale Creamery. Within easy reach are the historic sites of Middleham Castle, once the seat of Richard III, and Bolton Castle, where Mary Queen of Scotts was held captive.

Other nearby attractions are Jervaulx Abbey, Aysgarth Falls, The Forbidden Corner and a wide variety of museums, craft shops and potteries.

Local outdoor activities include caving, pot-holing, rock-climbing, fishing and pony-trekking.
