A warm welcome awaits you at our 17th century stone built home which we offer as B & B accommodation. Whilst it maintains many of its original features it has been refurbished with all the modern comforts of the 21st century. Come and stay at our award winning Bed & Breakfast at Wooler, Northumberland for one night or use us as a base to explore the beautiful local countryside for a few days.

Established in 1991, Tilldale House has always maintained a high standard of grading with the English Tourist Board. Situated on the High Street, which is a loop road off the main A697 (Cottage Road/South Road), and used only by local traffic, it is quiet during the evening hours.

We are conveniently placed for you to buy your morning papers and visit a different restaurant/public house each evening of your stay without having to use your car.

Guests have access to the house at all times.

Our spacious comfortable bedrooms have either full sized single twin or super king size beds. Extra pillows and blankets are available if you require them.

The rooms all have colour televisions, alarm radio CD players, hair dryers, complimentary drinks trays (with as many top-ups as you need, at no extra charge) temperature controlled heating and double glazing. They all have en-suite facilities, large bath sheets, towelling dressing gowns and complimentary shower and bath products.

Known as the “Gateway to the Cheviots” Wooler is an ideal base to explore the beautiful countryside and coastline of Northumberland and provides easy access to the Scottish Borders.

The town forms part of The St Cuthbert’s Way, The Inn Way, The Ravenber and routes for cyclists in Cycle Northumberland and Route 68 of the National Cycle Way. Tilldale House is an approved member of the Tourist Boards Walkers and Cyclists Welcome schemes.

For those who wish to bring bicycles we have a secure lock up and a wash facility. There is a local cycle shop for repairs or spares should
you need them.

Rates : From £25 to £28 per person per night. From £50 to £56 per room per night based on 2 people sharing.
