Yew Tree Chapel at Slaggyford near Brampton has been featured on Border T.V.'s programme 'Property matters' It will certainly be one of the most spectacular guest house's you will stay in.

As a guest you will be able to relax in the lounge after a full day doing Hadrian's Wall or after completing a section of The Pennine Way or The Pennine Cycleway.

Rated 4 Stars each bedroom is really comfortable. Orthopaedic mattresses for instance, underfloor heating throughout the building. En-suite bathrooms with a shower over a continental hip-bath. TV, tea-making facilities and hair-drier in each bedroom too.

Yew Tree Chapel is very much part of the big outdoors. Cyclists are welcome and your bikes will be stored inside the building.

4 Miles from Alston, 9 miles from Hadrian's Wall, Slaggyford is situated in Tynedale, designated an area of outstanding natural beauty. In our garden our regular visitors include all the finches you can think of, robins and wrens, a woodpecker and and a cock pheasant. Nearby you can see the buzzards, lapwings and curlews.
