It is the ideal base for exploring Holy Island, the Farne Islands, the Cheviot Hills and the castles of Alnwick, Bamburgh, Dunstanburgh, Chillingham and Warkworth. Other attractions such as; Cragside in Rothbury, Paxton House near Berwick-on-Tweed, Kielder Water, the Cheviot Hills and the once turbulent Scottish Borders are all within easy reach on stress free roads.
