Wydon farm is an ideal base for touring Hadrian's Wall and the English border country. We are within walking distance of Haltwhistle, the 'centre of Britain', with local shops and historic buildings.

Wydon farm sits on the banks of the river South Tyne, one of the best salmon rivers in England. Footpaths and a bridleway run through the farm yard and Sustrans cycle way runs through part of the farm.

The names of these comfortable rooms have been chosen because we have a Bluebell wood on the farm & a Primrose valley. Willow was chosen because Wydon originally meant 'Willow dean'.

Wydon Farm is ideally situated near some of the most spectacular sections of Hadrians Wall and the most important Roman sites, including Vindolanda, Housesteads, Birdoswald and Chesters - all accessable by the award winning Hadrian's Wall Bus Service.
