Gringley Hall, Gringley on the Hill, Nr Doncaster, South Yorkshire

Gringley Hall is a high quality licensed bed & breakfast/guesthouse establishment situated in one of the most picturesque villages in North Nottinghamshire, close to Clumber Park, Sherwood Forest and The Dukeries.
The Hall, built in the early 1800's by the Duke of Portland, was also a childrens convalescent home in the first part of the 1900's, the story of which is delightfully described in the book 'Lemon Curd and Grandfather's Whiskers' by John Clubley.
The Hall has delightful reception rooms with spacious comfortable bedrooms all with kingsize bed and en-suite private bathrooms, TV, radio and tea/coffee making facilities. Dulce & Ian Threlfall have been welcoming guests into their home since 1999 and have built a well-deserved reputation for their hospitality, cuisine and excellent accommodation. 2 of the rooms can be converted into a family suite sleeping up to 5. All 4 rooms have king size beds. All rooms can be converted into twin rooms if required.
Breakfast is an experience not to be missed - delicious fresh fruits and fruit juices, organically produced bacon, sausage and eggs. Also available are home made breads and preserves.
Dinners are for a minimum of 4 people - Dulce uses home grown produce wherever possible. There is also a good selection of local pubs and restaurants.
Private dinner parties for up to 24 people can also be catered for, as can small conferences, business and training days. Kennels are available should you wish to bring your pet.
Gringley Hall is located at the west end of Gringley on the Hill, opposite the vicarage and near the church (See map & directions). The Hall is centrally located, Gainsborough, Retford and Doncaster are within 20 minutes drive and York, Nottingham, Lincoln and Sheffield are all within 1 hour's drive.
The Hall is set in two acres of beautiful walled gardens that Dulce and Ian have spent many years restoring, redesigning and nurturing. The gardens are the ideal place to unwind in the evenings or to feel invigorated in the mornings. All the produce grown in the gardens are used in Dulce's home cooking.
