Resident owners, Shirley Whiting and John Rose would like to welcome you to the Edendale House Hotel which is situated at the northern end of Southport, in a leafy residential area of wide streets where all the houses were built in the Victorian era. One of the very few Southport hotels that can offer an off road parking space for each bedroom, there is a large car park and attractive gardens. If you are looking for peace, tranquillity and relaxation away from the stress and the strains of the town centre but within easy walking distace (10 minutes) then the Edendale House Hotel is just what you are looking for. We have instant access to local taxis who are efficent and helpful and for around £2.00 they will deliver you into the town centre, the station, the theatre or the Floral Hall. If you are attending a conference we are the perfect venue to get away from it all, leaving the stresses and strains of the day behind you.

The sitting room is comfortable and welcoming, with a small bar in the corner where drinks can be purchased to drink on the premises. There are board games and magazines for our guests enjoyment.

The dining room is delightfully decorated. Breakfast and evening meals are served at separate tables. The breakfast menu is quite extensive. The evening meals are delicious and imaginative, catering for both the plainer eater and the more adventurous diner. There are changes every day to the three course evening meal menu. No evening meals are served on Wednesday at present, but we will be happy to recommend nearby places to eat and make reservations for you. All the food is cooked at the hotel using good fresh local ingredients and served at 6 o'clock. Book for the first night and then we ask you each morning after that.

For the more energetic we offer free use of Dragons Health Club. There is a pool, steam room, fully equiped gym, squash courts and various classes. And after you have spend all your energy they have a lounge for coffee or drinks and snacks over looking the Marine Lake.

The Edendale House Hotel is only a short walk from most of Southport's main visitor attractions.

There are eight bedrooms situated on the first and second floors. Each room has a colour TV, telephone with Internet compatible telephone line, radio alarm, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and en-suite facilities, one has a private bathroom. Each room is individually decorated and has its own thermostatically controlled central heating radiator.

On the first floor there are three double rooms, two are en-suite and the third has a private bathroom just across the hall; there are two further rooms which have the advantage of having twin beds which can be linked together to make a king size double bed, both these rooms are en-suite.

On the second floor we have a double room en-suite and two family rooms both en-suite. One of the family rooms sleep four and the other sleeps five.
