The Middle Room is a comfortable double room situated on the first floor of the main farmhouse. The Stable Room is one of four recently refurbished rooms in the converted stable block which is adjacent to the main farmhouse. Of course, this used to be one of the shire horse stables on the farm. Access is via 3 steps. The End Room is a comfortable double room situated on the first floor of the main farmhouse. The Granary is one of four recently refurbished rooms in the converted stable block which is adjacent to the main farmhouse. This used to be the food storage (i.e the granary) for the horses that used to work on the farm. Access is via 3 steps. The Tack Room is one of four recently refurbished rooms in the converted stable block which is adjacent to the main farmhouse. This used to be a stable for the cart-horses, Access is via 3 steps. Astwell Mill has been kept and is presented with a great deal of pride - which is reflected in the four star rating given to it by the English Tourism Council. Three double rooms are fully equipped for the modern day traveller. Two offer views over the Astwell Mill lake. We are a working livestock farm with approx. 350 sheep! We also have several horses and keep our own chickens which supply eggs for breakfast. Our bedrooms provide an elegant haven to retire to at the end of the day. One of our rooms has an en-suite bathroom and contains all the modern amenities necessary for your total comfort. We offer three attractively presented bedrooms. Each room has its own individual character, and is furnished in a tasteful manner guaranteed to make you feel immediately at home. All offered at a reasonable cost. Wappenham is a small pretty village increasingly being known as the early home of Gilbert Scott (designer of the Albert Memorial). Elm Tree Farm accommodation is situated on the Grand Union Canal approximately 60 miles north of London and 60 miles south of Birmingham. The accommodation comprises of 3 B&B rooms in the farm house, and 8 newly built apartments located in a courtyard arrangement of buildings across from the main farm house. There are 3 Short Stay Studios, 3 self catering Holiday Cottages and 2 Serviced Apartments. which offer a variety of facilities depending on your requirements and length of stay. All of the apartments are newly built, providing clean, modern accommodation, fully furnished and equipped with self catering facilities and wifi. There is a separate laundry room with washing machines and a tumble dryer. All apartments are strictly non smoking. We have a secure bike store, so feel free to bring a bike. The farm is situated in the Tove Valley with the river running through our meadow fields. Day fishing permits can be arranged by prior arrangement. We are opposite the Navigation Inn Pub, which offers reasonably priced evening meals and live entertainment. The canal provides good walks and cycling, linking up with the Milton Keynes "Red Ways". There are extensive bridle-ways in the area and we are located within a 15 minute hack to Milton Keynes Event Centre. We do self-catering for long and short term lets.
