The Gold Cup Room: The largest of the guest rooms, the Gold Cup room is a blend of the traditional and the modern, with original architectural features enhanced by warm pastel shades and soft furnishings whilst incorporating modern features such as the grandiose en-suite bathroom with separate shower and Jacuzzi bath sat on a raised pedestal and affording views across the rolling countryside to the Cleddau estuary, a truly wonderful place to relax at the end of a tiring day. The Arc d’ Triomphe Room: A little less opulent than the Gold Cup room but still rich and inviting, the Arc d’ Triomphe room has a traditional, warm, tranquil feel and is the perfect place to retire and relax with a good book, read perhaps whilst snuggled in one of the quaint window seats in the bay windows and with the book chosen from the well stocked library. An excellent room choice for those seeking peace or solitude at the end of a business trip or a day spent exploring Pembrokeshires fantastic and varied attractions including the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The Grand National Room: Offering a combination of a double bed and a large single, the Grand National room can be utilised as a double, twin or triple room. With front and side views across the grounds and down to the estuary, the room is spacious and is flooded with light from the magnificent sash windows. The en-suite features a separate bath and shower, ideal for those who wish to rinse away the sand after an active day spent on one of Pembrokeshires fabulous beaches, before going out to dine in one of the localities fine hostelries. Your visit is our business and we want to make your stay a positive and memorable experience. Our guest house ‘Garn Mawr’, provides cozy and modern accommodation, with bed space for ten people and all rooms being en-suite. Set within the heart of Pembrokeshire National Park, Wales, just minutes of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, Abercastle, close to St Davids. It has been awarded a Wales Tourist Board four star guest house rating. The guest house (Bed and Breakfast) is also dog friendly so please bring 'Fido' for a walk on the Pembrokeshire National Park Coastal Path. There is ample parking space for guests vehicles in our private car parking area and our very own boat mooring just a few meters from the Pembrokeshire National Park Coastal Path means that you can choose your preferred mode of transport to explore the areas natural beauty. Also, the Stumble Shuttle bus passes us on its route to St. David's and can be used as a means of local transportation. Garn Mawr, of Garn Isaf small holding, is a Grade II listed converted barn, just outside Abercastle near St. David's, which has been beautifully renovated, incorporating many natural materials. The ground floor is limestone throughout with underfloor heating and the stairways are constructed of ash, leading to rooms with oak floors, all of which, have en-suite bathrooms with bamboo floors. The quality accommodation is warm and cosy, with a spacious dining room and comfortable sunlounge with a wood burning stove to see off those rare chilly evenings and access onto a spacious, slate patio and raised garden area, which is ideal for BBQ's and sundowners. This area is enclosed with Pembrokeshire banks, beyond which, is an open field that is festooned with wild flowers and grasses, attracting all manner of wildlife. It is the perfect place to sit and listen to the chatterings of our resident summer swallows or look out for a twilight fox. We can also provide fun, outdoor games such as croquet or petangue (French bowls). The lounge has plenty of soft sofa chairs and various lighting options and is a great place to relax and perhaps read. The dining room is where breakfast and evening meals are usually served but outside meal times, its large central tables also provide a great space for exploring maps or sea charts and planning new adventures or perhaps the space might be used for playing family board games. Breakfast is usually served between 0730 - 0900 but can be earlier or later if arranged in advance. Where possible we always use locally sourced and free range produce that comes from within the Pembrokeshire National Park. We are also happy to cater for specific dietry needs and ask that guests inform us of these at the time of booking. Packed lunches can be provided when requested in advance and we can also offer a 3 course evening meal, plus coffee and tea. Please tell us if you require an evening meal, at the time of booking or at least a day in advance. We are dog friendly and dogs are very welcome (please ask for our dog policy). All rooms are en-suite and have their own sitting area with wall mounted, flat screen televisions that incorporate DVD/CD players. They also each have built-in dressing tables and all have tea and coffee making facilities and a radio alarm clock. Our quality accommodation includes four named guest rooms and can be described as follows; Gorseland is a ground floor room that can be accessed by wheelchair users and is a family room. It has a kingsize double bed plus a single bed with both a shower and free standing roll top bath in its bathroom. Swallows Nest is a family room with a super king double bed and a single bed in a seperate area, providing privacy. A second single childs bed, can also be placed for a family of four. The en-suite has a basin, toilet and smoked glass fronted shower. Sea Breeze is a twin room (two single beds) with built-in wardrobe space and a quadrant corner fitted shower in its bathroom. A third single bed can be placed here too, if required. Seal Cove has a King size double bed, built-in wardrobe space and seperate shower and toilet. The Paddock is an exclusive well placed 5 star country home in a stunning central location in the heart of Pembrokeshire on a working farm. Joss, who is Cordon Bleu trained and has over 20 years experience, will cook and serve you the most delicious home cooked meals – breakfast – dinner. Our house is a new build faced with traditional Welsh stone. It has been decorated and furnished to an extremely high standard and is full of up to date modern luxuries. The three luxurious bedrooms- one can be converted to a twin; they have all been tastefully decorated and furnished to a very high standard and offer superior accommodation in individually styled bedrooms. All guest rooms are classically decorated with contemporary furniture and co-ordinated furnishings and fabrics. Luxurious cotton bedlinen adorns the very comfortable kingsize beds. All rooms have complimentary spring water,fresh fruit and milk in your own mini fridge. The Ryeland Room The Ryeland Room is our largest room with a super kingsize bed which can be converted into a twin room, this overlooks the garden, the bathroom is spacious and has a bath with a high pressure shower system above. The Dexter Room The Dexter Room is a large room and has a king size bed and beautiful views of the surrounding Pembrokeshire countryside, the bathroom has a rain-shower system and high pressure hand set. The Wyandotte Room This is a large room and has a kingsize bed and glorious views of the Pembrokeshire countryside, the bathroom is spacious and has a bath with a high power shower system above. You can make yourself at home sitting in the comfortable cosy sitting room in warm classic colours and fabrics in front of the wood burning stove with natural stone fireplace and slate hearth. We have a collection of books and magazines to browse and DVDs to borrow. You can then come through to our light and airy dining room for a remarkable dinner and enjoy the fantastic views overlooking the fields and watching the sunset before retiring to bed.
