We welcome everyone, from walkers who only need one nights accommodation to those who want to stay longer to explore the local area of Newport, St. Dogmaels, Poppit and Cardigan. The local walkers bus(The Poppit Rocket) stops outside our B&B enabling walkers to stay for more than one night by hopping on the bus to either the start of your walk and walking back or returning to us at the end of your walk ( The Poppit Rocket runs several times each day between May-September to and from Poppit Sands,Moylegrove, Newport Beach, Newport Town, Dinas, Lower Fishguard and Fishguard Town. You can be assured of a warm welcome at East Trewent Farm. The bed and breakfast is in a separate building from the main house, giving freedom and privacy. East Trewent Farm is no longer a working farm but a location devoted to providing quiet, restful holidays. Plenty of parking space is available, also storage for bikes and boats. There is a sunny patio where your welcome tea and cakes can be enjoyed. The four en-suite bed and breakfast rooms are clean, comfortable and well furnished including t.v.'s and refreshment trays. The dining room serves delicious breakfasts including Pat's fresh fruit salad and Peter's carefully prepared full cooked using best quality produce - locally sourced where possible. Vegetarian options, snacks, lunches and cream teas are available. Or perhaps an evening meal, we are not licensed but we are happy for you to bring your own wine. There are quiet outside seating areas for you to enjoy and listen to the birds and bees. Frequent summer visitors include many swallows and they can be seen nestling in our pretty white washed stone out-buildings. East Trewent Farm was, a while ago, a dairy farm and some features can be seen today including the original medieval cottage thought to have been built some 500 years ago. We are ideally located for beach and water sports enthusiasts. Breathtaking scenery surrounds us, which is ideal for walking, horse riding, bird watching, cycling and other similar leisure activities. We are close to Bosherston Lily Ponds and the beautiful Barafundle Bay. There are pubs/restaurants close by providing good food. Lamphey (2.5 miles) has a bakery, post office, petrol station and groceries. The historic town of Pembroke (3 miles) has a variety of shops and the impressive Pembroke Castle.
