A warm and friendly welcome awaits you on the Black Isle at the Newton Croft Bed & Breakfast establishment. Renowned for its 5 Star Highland hospitality, service and central location to visit most of the North of Scotland makes this family croft a "must" for a longer stay. Situated on the A835 and only 2 miles from the main A9, Newton Croft Bed and Breakfast is only a 10 minute drive from the City of Inverness and the Town of Dingwall where there are plenty of amenities including supermarkets, many good local shops, a museum, a castle, a leisure centre and a library. After your long journey, stretch your legs by taking a peaceful stroll through the forest which is just a few hundred yards from the house. Use the house as an anchor point to start your site seeing and view the beautiful green and peaceful Highlands of Scotland. Both Bedrooms have tea and coffee facilities - biscuits, sweets & occasional home baking, Digital TV and a local information pack with interesting sites and attractions in the Highlands to help you plan your stay, a hairdryer and a first aid kit. Warm blankets and extra pillows are supplied within the drawers of each bed if needed. Oscillating fans are available during hot weather, if required. There is a vast breakfast menu to choose from including locally made "Gold Award" black pudding and haggis, self service coffee maker, juices and a selection of cereals all within the beautifully decorated separate dining room. We have a high chair for the younger child. There are many good restaurants within 10 minutes drive from the house for your evening meals. A file of nearby restaurants and their directions can be found in the drawer of each room. There are two bathrooms for your private use only - one with amenities for the disabled. Each with built in shower unit and separate bath all in pure white with pleasant decor. There are also fresh towels laid out for your use, and a courtesy basket. There is a nearby forestry walk and the area is renown for its wild birds including the red kite, buzzards and falcons as well as the smaller red spotted woodpecker, thieving magpies and the more traditional blue tits and chaffinches. Attractions include the Muir of Ord golf course, (10% discount on your golf if booked through us) only 5 miles from the house. In Dingwall itself you can browse through the independent traders' shops or replenish your hunger in the many coffee shops, bars and restaurants. Rates: From £25.00 to £29.00 per person per night.
