The Jays Guest House is a traditionally built detached granite dwelling, with authentic lead stained glass foyer and staircase, which provides an attractive feature located in Aberdeen.

The ten tastefully decorated bedrooms have eight with en-suite facilities and the remaining two each have private facilities.

The Jays was Highly Commended in the Visitor Experience Category of the Northern Lights Tourism Awards 2003. Alice was voted one of the Top 20 finalists in the "Landlady of the Year" competition with the AA for 1996 and 1997 which involved 3,500 competitors. The Jays is the only guest house in Aberdeen that is recommended by Frommers and Foders, both US Guides to Great Britain.
