Five Gables Guest House B&B is the former golf clubhouse of the old Arbroath Golf Club that ran from 1877 to its closure in 1984. A unique venue as this is the only B&B in Scotland that's an old golf club. A highly commended 3 star B&B situated overlooking the 1st tee and 18th green of the Arbroath Golf Course and the North Sea. A popular B&B due to its panoramic location, peaceful setting and its facilities for guests. A home from home.

All our spacious rooms are on the ground floor, are all en-suite, all have wi-fi internet access and all come with Digital TV, DVD players, board games and a games console. A large selection of books can be found in our sea-view guest lounge and dining area. Guests have access to the lounge and dining area at all times. A great place to relax after a long day golfing for fishing, or for a nice family get together.

If you are trying to retrace your family history, we have a vast array of local books that may help you in your quest. Plus details on all pre 1855 gravestone inscriptions for all the cemeteries in Arbroath, the Angus area, Dundee and Kincardineshire. A visit to Angus Archives is also a must if doing your family tree.

There are some great restaurants and cafés in Arbroath, another option we offer is allowing guests to order in if they wish, and dine at our sea-view dining area overlooking the Arbroath golf course and sea. Guests taking advantage of this are provided with tea or coffee free of charge, or you are welcome to bring your own alcohol to complement your meal.

We hope you see you soon.
