Coylet Inn, Loch Eck, By Dunoon, Argyll

Originally called the "Loch Eck Inn" this 17th Century Coaching Inn is right on the shores of lovely Loch Eck said by some, to be one of the prettiest of Scotland. Our idyllically located hotel has a growing reputation for not only providing guests with good home cooked food and real ales; but now also with a range of short break packages designed to tempt visitors to enjoy our hospitality for a little longer.
Situated in Scotland's National Park, just one hour west of Glasgow, we welcome stressed city dwellers looking to get away from it all; 'outdoor' types who, after stalking or fishing, value a hearty meal and a comfortable bed; couples seeking a romantic hideaway or even those simply looking for traditional Scottish hospitality.
We are pleased to be able to offer lovely comfortable accommodation within the Inn itself. Our rooms have been awarded 3 stars for quality from Visit Scotland and 4 AA Diamonds.
Access to our four carefully restored rooms is by an original spiral staircase. We have three double and one twin room (all en-suite), plus an additional family room to accommodate children. All of our rooms boast style, comfort and touch of luxury. Three of them have panoramic views across Loch Eck and the surrounding mountains, the remaining views are of peaceful hillside.
For an additional touch of luxury, romance (or just novelty) one of these rooms has an enormous bath set in the window, perfect for supping champagne and watching the world go by!
Our bar is well stocked with real ales and a large selection of malt whiskies, whilst our restaurant caters for every taste.
The area immediately surrounding the Coylet is popular with hill walkers, fishermen and stalking guests.
