McDonald Hotel & Cabins in Kinlochleven offers superb accommodation and excellent cuisine, set in a glorious location. Our hotel in Argyll is nestled at the foot of the Mamore Mountains, at the head of Loch Leven, perfect for a truly idyllic getaway.
Our charming hotel is the ideal place to stay for a relaxing and tranquil getaway in a wonderful setting. We have a range of tastefully furnished bedrooms available on the first floor: 3 double rooms with king size beds, 5 twin rooms, 1 family room with a double and single bed and 1 triple room with 3 single beds. All the first-floor rooms come with a range of excellent facilities: en suite bathroom, a TV, hair dryer, free Wi-Fi and tea and coffee making facilities.
Your savour a tasty breakfast in our dining room to set you up for the day ahead. We offer a buffet of fruit, cereals, porridge and yoghurts, followed by our Highland Feast of pork sausage, bacon, black pudding, tomatoes, mushrooms, beans, egg and potato scone.
The Stag Restaurant offers fabulous food in a relaxed and peaceful space. You can also enjoy some lovely food in The Bothy Bar which offers a slightly less formal atmosphere. A solid fuel stove will keep you warm on those chilly days and great entertainment facilities include a pool table and board games, plus BT Sports for major sporting events.

Kinlochleven is known as the ‘Hidden Village’ and has something for everyone, including lots of activities and glorious scenery to savour. You can hire a mountain bike on one of the purpose-made tracks or sea kayak whilst admiring the amazing natural landscape.
